This is the country’s leading center for the treatment of lipid metabolism disorders and cardiovascular diseases. The 500 square meter building consists of a lipids clinic, a service laboratory and a research laboratory.
Due to the fact that one of the partners to the project was a Japanese pharmaceutical company, the interior was designed to incorporate elements from the Japanese tradition, among them a Japanese-style garden in the interior courtyard. Moreover, at the entrance to the building we placed a small pool, in honor of the importance that water plays in the Japanese esthetic tradition.
The materials were also carefully chosen to reflect the Japanese esthetic, without compromising durability and suitability to public spaces.
